Aerodynamics Built for Speed
The Air Atlas has been engineered around aerodynamic efficiency, using computer modeling and wind-tunnel testing to optimize airflow around the helmet. Its streamlined shape helps minimize turbulence and reduce aerodynamic drag, allowing riders to maintain high speeds with less wasted energy. Compared with the previous Air Speed model, the Air Atlas can save approximately 0.7 watts at 40 km/h and 1.4 watts at 50 km/h.
Removable U.F.O. Aero Cone
The distinctive U.F.O. aero cone adds another level of aerodynamic optimization. The removable rear element can be attached when maximum speed is the priority or removed depending on weather conditions, riding style, or race requirements. This adaptable design lets you configure the helmet according to the demands of your ride.
Advanced Venturi Ventilation
High-performance riding requires effective cooling. The Air Atlas uses a carefully engineered ventilation system featuring 17 openings and 6 internal air channels. Seven front vents and four NACA openings guide fresh air into the helmet, while six rear vents help evacuate warm air. This creates an efficient airflow path that helps keep you cool during intense efforts.
Precision Air Fit Evo Adjustment
The Air Fit Evo system provides a secure and personalized fit with volume adjustment and five height positions. Self-adapting rear supports help maintain a stable fit while riding at high speeds. Ergonomic strap dividers provide a comfortable fit around the face, while the Fidlock magnetic buckle allows quick one-handed fastening.
Lightweight Racing Construction
The Air Atlas uses an in-mold triple-shell construction with a polycarbonate outer shell, combining lightweight performance with a strong, durable structure. Soft, hypoallergenic padding provides additional comfort and can be easily removed for cleaning, making the helmet suitable for frequent training and racing use.
