Designed to Cut Through the Air
The Air Atlas is engineered around aerodynamic efficiency, with its streamlined profile inspired by the smooth shapes of nature and aviation. Computer modeling and wind-tunnel testing helped optimize airflow around the helmet and reduce turbulence. Compared with the previous Air Speed model, the Air Atlas can save approximately 0.7 watts at 40 km/h and 1.4 watts at 50 km/h, helping riders maintain speed more efficiently.
Removable U.F.O. Aero Cone
The signature U.F.O. aero cone adds another level of aerodynamic performance. The removable rear element can be attached when maximum efficiency is required or removed depending on weather conditions and the demands of your ride. It gives racers the flexibility to adapt the helmet for different courses and riding situations.
Advanced Venturi Ventilation
Performance is about more than speed. The Air Atlas is designed to keep you cool during intense efforts with 17 ventilation openings and 6 internal air channels. Seven front air intakes and four NACA openings channel fresh air through the helmet, while six rear openings help release warm air. The resulting airflow system supports effective cooling without compromising the helmet’s aerodynamic profile.
Professional Air Fit Evo System
The Air Fit Evo adjustment system allows riders to achieve a secure, personalized fit with volume adjustment and five height positions. Self-adapting rear supports help stabilize the helmet during aggressive riding, while ergonomic strap dividers provide a comfortable fit around the face. The Fidlock magnetic buckle makes fastening quick and convenient, even when you’re preparing for a fast-paced ride.
Lightweight Racing Construction
The Air Atlas uses an in-mold triple-shell construction with a polycarbonate outer structure. Its lightweight design reduces unnecessary weight while maintaining the robust construction expected from a performance racing helmet. Soft, hypoallergenic padding provides additional comfort and can be easily removed for cleaning.
